Kassel Airport (Airport Kassel-Calden) can be reached in about 5 minutes.
Visitors interested in nature will not miss out as well: in the immediate environs
you can find the Dörnberg which - as well as Castle Wilhelmsthal - invites you
to take a walk.
The offer ranges from relaxation at the "Kurhessen Therme" (an indoor
swimming pool with a huge offer of different saunas) or at Kassel's
Buga lake over several museums, eg. the extraordinary museum of wallpapers,
to extensive shopping sprees in Kassel's city centre.
To cap the day you can choose to visit one of Kassel's modern cinemas or
theatres - or you spend the evening in one of the many different kinds of
restaurants or at the "Friedrich-Ebert-Street" where most bars and pubs
are located. Everything can be reached in 15 minutes by car or with the
train from our local trainstation.
